13-o UTAH KICKS BUTT!!!

The kid's and I went downtown to welcome the Ute's Football Team home. I can't believe how many people were there. One the way home I asked Joslynn what here favorite part of the parade was and she said "duh Mom, the football players." I should have known.

Why....WHY.....WHY

Why is it that almost every time we go out of town someone gets sick. This time we went to St. George to see some friends and with out fail one of the kids gets sick. Joslynn on the drive down said that her head hurt. So I gave her some Tylenol and we though she was fine. We went to a birthday party then to the Dickens Festival. While we were at the Dickens Festival she said that her stomach hurt. We went back to our room and all that night I could not sleep because she kept getting up and going to the bathroom. She was breathing funny so of course as a mother you stay up and watch them sleep. Then in the morning she came out of the bathroom and I just new that I needed to jump fast and grab the garbage can. Let's just say that sometimes it is nice to be in a hotel because you don't care about the bedding the way you do when it's your stuff.
Nate then asked how can you move so fast when you were just a sleep. I guess Dad's just don't have the reflexes that Mom's do.

After that Nate and I took turns keeping the boys busy so that Jossi could sleep. She was so sick and looked like she was on her death bed. She would cry because her head hurt and she could not sit up with out throwing up.

Later we had a dinner to be to so I was going to go and leave Jossi and Nate at the hotel. Then Jossi started to cry because she wanted to go see her friends Aubrey and Emma. I can't believe how resilient kids are. Jossi ran around her friends house like she was never sick. Kids are just amazing sometimes.

On a happier note. The weather in St. George is sooo nice that I think that I just might move there.

UTAH UTES!!!!!!!

We Love the Utes.....Thank goodness they won. It really made Nate's day. When it comes to the Utah vs. BYU Nate is as nervous as a whore in church. (sorry if that offends anyone)

We did some tailgating before the game. The kids loved it, they think that it was the best thing ever. They all ran around playing corn hole and throwing the football around. The best part of the tailgating for Nate was when the BYU Fans would walk threw and our kids would yell screw the blue. I did not teach them that so it only leaves one other person at home that could have taught them that. One side of me thought that was funny, but the responsible parent in me was not happy with the language. What do you do???

Yeah...I am down 30lbs. and I'm blowing it all out the door with late night chat with Emily and bowls of ice cream in Philly

Soo... I was in Philly for 8 days with no kids and no husband. It was a blast. Emily Jensen had her baby she named hin Keian. He is so darn cute that I wanted to take time home with me. We stayed up late talking and eating ice cream. Nothing has changed. Then later Linda Rossner came over for a visit before the end of my trip. It was so good to see her and Emily at the same time. I just love those girls.

WOW....What a crazy few weeks....

So much happend in the last few weeks, that I don't know where to begin. I tried to download a picture of each thing that happened then decied that would take to long, then I thought that I would tell you. So, I think that the best way is to make a list.
1. Nate found a new job in Utah (this was a suprise to all of us)
2. We had 5 weeks from beging of Nate flying out for the job to moving.
3. Drive to Utah with 3 kids and 2 dogs.
4. Drive back to Ohio
5. Pack the house with 3 kids 2 dogs, and Nate working up to the day before we left.
6. I still made it to the gym almost every day. Yeah!!!!
7. Took some time out of packing to hit The Ohio State Fair for the last time.
8. Say our goodbys to all are wonderful friends in Ohio.
9. Drove back to Utah this time with 3 kids, 2 dogs, 1 brother, 1 sister, 2 cars and a HUGE truck full of everything that we could fit in it.
10. Cooper turned 1 Aug. 22
11. Braden took another visit to the E.R. for another set of stiches. (4 time to the E.R.)
12. Joslynn started kindergarten.
13. Nate started his new job 2 days after we pulled in to Utah.
14. Nate flew back to Ohio to drive up to Michigan with his buddie for the Utah game.

So.... there you have it that is a list of the few things that have gone on as of now. That was all of Aug summed up. Now I am ready for nothing to happen. I hope that I never have to move that far again.

Our Family Picture

Nate's new office in Holladay Utah, sent Nate an e-mail asking for a picture for a mailer that they were sending out. They needed it ASAP, so Nate ran out last night and got the boy's some new church clothes(Brady had floods). Then after church I called Kara Hagberg who saved the day and came to take our pictures. The kids promised that they would be there best, and this was the only one that turned out. That was the best we got of Brady. I sure would hate to see what it would be like on a bad day, if this is a good day. When we got back in the car Brady and Coopy were fast asleep. So any ways this picture will be sent out on a mailer to 10,000 people for everyone to see Brady's not so good side. Thank goodness he wasn't crying (yet!!!). Kara is so so kind for taking pictures for us. I should have Kara autograph all 10,000 pictures. We love you Kara. (This is so sad that, this is our last family picture in Ohio)

Yes....It is true......

We are moving back to Utah. August 8th is the official moving date. I know it's a surprise to all of you. We are just as surprised. We came across a job that was way to good to pass up. So we jumped on it. We still can't believe it. We are so excited. Nate is already getting his season tickets to Utah football. *GO UTES* I think we will keep our Ohio plates until we get a ticket. We like it to much to let it go.
